Exhibit Us: Desire In Motion

A multi-genre live art exhibit of original performance pieces created by the artists in them; utilizing dance, text, movement, music, and expression to put subtext on display.

It started in movement class at The Actors Studio Drama School: an assignment, a challenge to workshop and tell a story with less words and more movement.  And so a powerful and exciting series of vignettes was born.  Inspired by method acting, Grotowski technique, performance art, and individual passion, this is a show created by artists for artists and humans of all kinds.  We love doing this, and we want to share it.

What happens when we communicate in new ways, when different kinds of art are combined to tell the truth about us?  We are creating pieces using acting, dance, words, music, and visual art to express the inexpressible - to act out our desires as they want to be expressed, and not as words would contain them.  "Exhibit Us: Desire in Motion" is in development and we can't wait to perform in NYC.  Some very promising prospects are opening up in terms of space and new collaborations.  We are super jazzed to see what we can create together.
